NABL Accreditation Consultancy Services for Industrial Laboratory
The international standard ISO/IEC 17025 specifies requirements for competent, impartial, and consistent laboratory operations. It specifies the activities that must be included in laboratory operations to promote confidence in its ability to produce valid and consistently reliable testing, calibration, and sampling results.
The current standard is ISO/IEC 17025:2017. In collaboration with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published the standard. In contrast to ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 certifications, ISO/IEC 17025 certification recognizes the technical competence of laboratories. Accreditation is the formal declaration from an Accreditation Body that a laboratory meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 to perform tests within its accredited scope.
NABL-ISO 17025 sole purpose is to provide third-party assessments to ensure excellent laboratory performance and technical competence, thereby creating a streamlined and standardized testing environment. NABL provides accreditation to laboratories in the Major Fields of Science and Engineering that are performing tests and calibrations as per ISO 17025.
NABL-ISO 17025 can be used in a variety of fields, including mechanical, chemical, electrical, electronic, biological, fluid-flow, non-destructive, radiological, thermal, forensics, and electro-technical. NABL-ISO 17025 also accredits proficiency testing providers and reference material producers.
What are testing and calibration laboratories?
The characteristics of an item of interest for conformity assessment are determined by testing laboratories. Testing a cereal sample (the item of interest) for pesticides to determine if the amount meets the legal limit (conformity) is one example. A calibration laboratory, on the other hand, compares a measurement instrument of unknown accuracy with one of known accuracy. By comparing the readings from the scale at the airport (the unknown) to certified mass pieces (the known), the calibration can ensure that your luggage is accurately weighed.

Role of Us for NABL Accreditation:
ISO 17025 accreditation is largely dependent on your quality management system. It all begins with your quality manual and standard operating procedures. When you hire a consultant, create a quality manual that is unique to your laboratory.
We will begin with discussions to learn how your laboratory actually operates. With this information, consultants create an easy-to-read GAP report that meets the ISO 17025 standard and reflects the processes you are already performing.
When your processes do not meet ISO 17025 requirements, consultants offer you suggestions for improvement to get you complaints. When we agree on the improvements, consultants write these processes into your quality manual and standard operating procedures.
Whenever you hire a Quality Consultant to get your ISO 17025 accreditation, you will be provided with a unique quality manual, standard operating procedures, and forms, so you can become ISO 17025 accredited by your accreditation body of choice without any stress and headaches.
